First time I heard this great work of Paganini, was when I found it in Ffm in 1966, bought it and listened to it over and over again, alone in my big apartment, on Kaiser Strasse, close to the Bahnhoff and I was struck by Tretyakov;s mastery of this not easy to perform opus of this Genius called Paganini, with the correct nuances, strokes, harmonics, Cadenza and feelings. I still shed my tears moved by my emotions of peace, pleasure and amazement at the nigh perfect Recording. I agree with Dana, What a Blessing to listen to the Complete Work with no cuts. I had lost this recording sometime in the 80's having moved so many time from Country to Country, and from City to City. Until just recently in May on the Plane, returning from S'Pore to Nanaimo, my Priestly Friend re introduced me to a different recording of same by Victor Tretyakov, but in chopped up Cuts, which he found from Search in You Tube. This morning I was determined to want to listen to this Concerto again, my favourite and found this complete version. Fantastic Victor and Thank you 'VinylRecordSound' for sharing this UNIQUE Recording, the Best reproduction I heard anytime, anywhere, in 52 years. Deo Gratias!!!

One of my all-time greatest listening experiences: found this cassette for a dollar or two in a mall basket back in the eighties. Is this what Paganini wanted? Just have no idea. Why the performance is remarkable I cannot say, yet it is so perfect to my ears.
