I’m surprised to find myself almost angry that the Latin Mass is being suppressed like this by Pope Francis. I don’t understand why the celebration of the Latin Mass is more concerning than the nonsense happening in Germany at the moment with those bishops. It is more important to uphold Church doctrine than to make the Church more progressive. I received the best novus ordo religious formation from very good (but naive) priests, and around 90 % of my private school classmates lost their faith (they came from normal families, not divorced nothing weird).
