Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Chinese President Xi Jinping has inspected 14 contiguous areas of extreme poverty concentrated in a region, and held seven poverty alleviation symposiums. He said the pursuit of people's happiness and better living standards is an everlasting theme. The cooperation between Fujian Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region that he promoted has become a good example of partnership between the east and west of China.

Helping the poor is also part of human rights. The poor deserve a better life. Hope more is being done to help the poor, not just in China, but the rest of the world from their respective government. The super rich need to be taxed more to help the poor to elevate their lives.
