Kevin Rudd, the former leader of Australia from 2007-2010 and then again in 2013, tells The West Block that the U.S. Department of Justice can resolve the Meng Wanzhou crisis by treating it as a civil matter instead of as a criminal prosecution. Rudd also questions the Trump administration’s handling of the whole affair.

He’s suggesting a civil lawsuit. CCP will just pay it like a parking ticket, it’s nothing to them. You might as well just say let her go.

It’s disgusting seeing how Canada uses people of color to fight their war for them. Look at their choice of the news anchor... haha 😂

The underlying thrust of her questioning strategy indicates desire to confront and defeat China, rather than anything else. "How can we have our cake (get the 2 Michaels back) and eat it too (continue incarceration of Meng Wenzhou aka, continue sticking it to China)?"

ruddy duddy is obviously bias against China. He accuse them of adopting an aggressive foreign policy, yet offers no example of this. The Chinese always adopt a non intervention policy, who doesn't meddle in other countries affairs. They only have 1 military base outside of their own country, so no one can see how ruddy duddy say that is an aggressive foreign policy.
ruddy duddy is always talking about the rule of law, but why doesn't he say anything about the "invasion of the Netherlands bill"? The usa just make up rules and change rules as they go along, let alone follow international law. They threatened the dutch that they would invade them if they dared investigate usa war crimes!
It's all fine and dandy citing rule of law, but tell me, Canadians, since when dictating to other countries who they can or can't trade with became an international law? If the usa decides no other countries can trade with Iran, and they can get the Canadians to kidnap people who broken "their" rule, is this following international law? If so, let the Chinese know, so they can start sanctioning Canada & Australia. And if any Canadians or Australians break the Chinese rule, their citizens can be held hostage by all countries with extradition treaties with China.

Rule-of-Law -> translation: Anglo-American hegemony across the globe. Was the invasion of Iraq the rule of law ? Was the funding of terrorists in Syria the rule of law ? Was the US funded and US organized coup in Ukraine the rule of law? Was the destruction of Libya the rule of law ? How about Human Rights when it comes to Julian Assange ?

Still playing with the Victorian colonial past ?
Those days were gone. They've learned that if they give in to the colonial conquerors their faith would be the same of original natives of North amd South America.
They have experienced the 8 nations alliances bullies during the mid 1800's and will never forgotten.

He is right. But the fact remains that United States doesn’t want to issue to resolve. This entire controversy has not only been started by them but it works in their favour.

What's the behavior of Canada who started all of this in the very beginning? The human right of a Chinese is equally important to the human right of an Anglo Saxon.
