Since the end of WWII, the U.S. has been the central player in the international system, leading in the creation of new international organisations like the United Nations, NATO, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. American diplomacy has dominated multinational agreements on trade, climate, regional security and arms control. Since the Soviet Union officially collapsed in 1991 there is no doubt that America has been the unilateral superpower of the world.

But now not only do China and Russia contest America’s global role, a growing number of other countries are asserting an independent and increasingly influential role in regional economic and security developments. I’m Kasim, this is KJ Vids and in this video, we will look at America’s decline as the superpower of the world.

So, you are basically saying. The USA is not in decline in absolute terms but in relative terms compared to other powers in the world, it is less of a lone power. In other words other powers are catching up.

a quick way to collapse the US is for other countries to do business with each other by swapping their business deals from US to another country, US will lose business and other countries will gain/keep at same level

Hey, nice work. Overall an unbiased video with large part of it is facts based truth but the failure to understand chinese culture seems to prevail in some parts of the video for example the definition of "天下"(all under heaven) in chinese context. I cant blame you for it, it is pretty hard for non-Chinese speaker to grasp the idea behind it.

Excellent video KJ, I would suggest to perhaps raise your voice as sometimes it is difficult to hear you and your voice can be drowned by the music.
It is true that we are increasingly asserting a multipolar world. However when it comes to the US decline, we need to see the effects of the dedollarization of the world economy as well as the impeding debt crisis looming ahead.
Maybe someone more knowledageable than me can jump in and help us figure out the real and extent of the impacts on the US economy.
