There is still plenty that we don't know about the coronavirus. We don't know for sure where it came from, how it always behaves, whether you get immunity if you've had it, or how to treat or prevent it.
What we do know is that communities are being devastated around the world. Frontline and essential workers, and the elderly and some young are getting sick and dying in alarming numbers. We know that virtually every government in the world was unprepared for this crisis, despite being warned.
Many governments, such as the United States, preferred to prepare for wars they can't really fight, against Russia and China, for instance, rather than against a real enemy. Because of governments' lack of preparedness they have had to turn to draconian and even authoritarian measures, such as enforced lockdowns and social isolation—measures that were used during the 14th Century Black Death in Europe.
We also know that these measures are leading to what might well became the Greatest Depression since the Great one of the 1930s. With the disease still raging, nations and regions are itching to get back to a normal economic life, while medical experts warn that might trigger another deadly wave.
With us to discuss this critical situation are Jill Stein, a medical doctor and political leader, the former Green Party candidate for president; and the economist Professor Richard Wolff.

Democrats are lemmings. Independents are lazy. Until the damn Dem party is crushed, demonetized, bankrupt, the people’s progressive party cannot gain legitimacy. First, destroy the DNC/DCCC/Democratic Party. It has long outlived any usefulness.

Excellent. There’s more intelligence and insight here by far than we’ll see in the entirety of Election Theater 2020.

I love Dr. Jill Stein💚💚💚💚 I was able to vote for her in Santa Fe, New Mexico twice, 2012 and 2016. She will always be my President.

The powerful are not going to give up their power. They aren't going to enact measures that benefit the public.

36:19 It is also not as deadly as the normal flu.
The problem is that this is no response to a flu epidemic, this is a hostile takeover.
The template was the Ebola outbreak in West Africa in 2014. All of a sudden they had all the vaccines and the laws ready - laws that usually take a year to get through Congress. The outbreak first emerged within 80 miles of the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium, led by Dr. Robert Garry. The VHFC was built in 2011, and within 3 years there was an outbreak of Zaire Ebola Virus in West Africa, which had never before seen an Ebola outbreak. The origin most likely is from a vaccine campaign.
39:39 Old people get the flu and die from it. Just like SARS-COV-2.
The lockdown is all about exploiting the fear of death and of the invisible. Remember how AIDS was going to get us all in the 1980s? Or Ebola in 2014? Or Zika? Now it's Sars-Cov-2, except that governments around the world have locked down society.

You realise that 'asymptomatic' carriers of a viral infection means that their immune system is decisively thwarting the pathogen, that they have capacity for production of antibodies.
Why are New York and New Jersey statistical anomalies?
Why is it that so easily dismissed, without known genesis, that containment may have been compromised, in one (or more) of many bioweapon labs?

Open source knowledge coupled with direct democracy framed in a "school" setting is what will fix society and government permanently. Otherwise, expect war soon.

Great guests and discussion as a whole. Criticism: not even mentioning Event201 was opportunistic. Co-operatives are potentially best solution for most of the businesess but will never be able to work in institutional environment as it is.

and one great criticism of Jill Stein, who remains for me one of the best, not mentioning the danger of profit oriented Gates's cacciones in combination with 5g and digital money in ID2020 is not OK.

Well, Fidel & Raul, on that lil ole island in the south Gulf of Mexico, seem to have prepared both people and medical facilities for pandemics. Also how to prevent or cure lung cancer. Too bad these guys & their country are so “eww—yucky” that they are blockaded by our great Uber-protective nation.

It's definitely not a hoax, but to say that those who call for reopening the economy are motivated by capitalist profit only is ignorant because the biggest sharks of capitalist economy like Amazon have benefited from the lock down like never before and those capitalists who want economy to reopen are mostly small businesses, mom and paps, many of the business owners are people of color and they are of very modest means. Their business is their only source of survival. And, by the way, millions of people who got laid off during this crisis are not capitalists. They were employees a.k.a workers. I bet, they also would want economy to reopen. Granted, we need a different economy and a different economic system. But since we can't have it today or tomorrow, why is it so hard to understand that the calls for reopening the economy are mostly coming from ordinary working people who are being screwed the most by the system right now. Of course, those calls are also coming from SOME capitalists who are losing profits right now. By they are also coming from workers who have lost their jobs and who need to pay bills and feed their families. So, why there is no empathy for them at all? And why is it so hard to understand that the lock down will kill many more people than the virus because of the economic collapse? Many people will lose housing, healthcare (and health), won't be able to pay for their basic needs as a result of the lock down. At the same time, people like Jeff Bezos will profit like never before. Seems to me that the lock down shows capitalism in its ugliness much more than the capitalist economy in and of itself. What's happening with those urges to reopen the economy is that there is a struggle between different capitalist structures for survival and power grab. Some of them will go under and others will to on top. There is a power restructuring going on, where $$ and power get consolidated in even fewer hands than before. This is the biggest exploitation and power grab in the history of humanity. That's why it's astonishing to me to listen to people on the left who are seeing reopening economy as capitalist evil and not the lock down. Right this moment, as a result of the lock down, small businesses and many medium size businesses are getting dismantled by the big players who will come later and pick up their remains. There is going to be another foreclosure crisis, millions of people will be thrown out of their homes again and the big companies or developers will get their homes dirt cheap and then profit on them. Small restaurants will be eaten up by big chains. The list can go on and on. So, how can you say that the lock down is not working for capitalism? It works for capitalism perfectly. So perfectly that some people can't help but think that may be it was all staged. That's where the idea of hoax came from. But, it doesn't matter whether it's a hoax or not. In any case, someone is milking on it and they are milking on it really well.
