Kidnapping is "legal" but any retaliation from the victim country is "undiplomatic" and "gunboat diplomacy". What a spin-doctor!

Twenty minutes of talking around the point. Never on point. Blah blah blah... Why is the reason for this breakdown in communication not even mentioned? Solve that first! Mainstream news is amazing.

The Canadians should really wake up to the reality that this China isn't the same China we are dealing with back in 70s. This rising power is not going to listen what the west is telling them to, therefore diplomatically we need a different approach. This is the first time China pull back a ambassador from another country, it is clear that China view Canada is a enemy state, or close to it. Since the dispute, Canadian PM made zero attempt to contact the Chinese president and have any kind of dialog at the highest level, what Trudeau did was approach the Americans and other countries to pressure China, and stand on a higher moral standard treating them unequally. After all these CBC is telling us that the Chinese and their ambassador don't listen? Everything they are doing is retaliation.

We didn't get caught up in the trade war between US and China, we entered it voluntarily. We were in perfect position to let the two behemoths fight it out, and make a profit off both sides. But US said jump, and we dove head first into this shitshow.Publish Post
