The U.S. reimposes sanctions against Iran. Everything from airplanes to oil and even gold is affected. The sanctions went into effect midnight Tuesday with the U.S. president taking to Twitter, calling them the most “biting” sanctions ever. The U.S. pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal earlier this year, and this latest round of retaliation against Iran raises questions about whether the international agreement can survive.
