Funny how selective the west is when supporting the will of people, hahahaha! Crimea shouldn't decide by voting for separation, yet Kosovo can and today Catalonia better shut up or else,but Kurds in Syria should have independence, but not Kurds in Iraq or Turkey! Crimea was transferred to the Ukrainian SSR from the Russian SFSR by Nikita Khrushchev in 1954. Here is a fragment from the document on the transfer of the Crimea:

Crimea was transferred to Ukraine from Russia as a sign of eternal friendship between the Russian and Ukrainian peoples.

No friendship - no Crimea :)
