The first batch of subway trains manufactured by China for Boston subway's new Orange Line is expected to be shipped to the American city in December. This is the first time that a Chinese company is exporting its subway trains to the United States with complete Chinese intellectual property. And London will welcome groundbreaking new black cabs this November. The world’s most advanced electric taxi is manufactured by Chinese firm Geely. These cases suggest that more people in more countries will ride "Made-in-China" public transportation in the near future.
Does that development signal confidence in the quality of "Made in China”? Liu Debing, former chairman of China General Consulting and Investments, a company under the China General Technology Group, and Wu Changqi, a professor at Guanghua School of Management at Peking University and director of the Guanghua Leadership Institute at the university, weigh in on the issue.

Each country is unique and not all societies are open to high speed rail. Public transportation requires government-private partnership because of high cost in land and right of way acquisitions. This is not unlikely in the USA for political and ideological reasons. The airlines, long haul trucking, and the automobile industry will buy Congress to prevent high speed rail system in US. General Motors un the 1940s purchased the entire Detroit public city raul system and shipped it to Mexico City. Failure of China to sell mote rail car systems to US is not failt of Chinese mfgrng but because of way public transportation is handled in US.
Rosie is right Japan, Korea, Western Europe and USA are advanced than China. These countries want higher labor wage like 500 thousand a year in engineering’s n scientists. Chinese government lending than money and their wages very low like 30 thousand a years. Remember 2008 most advanced countries have a recession. build a rail system that local can afford to ride. not every citizens of a country can afford to ride a high speed train to work. maybe a medium speed train is more affordable.

The City of Chicago brought one billion dollars in subway trains from China.The City of LA brought 500 million dollars of subway trains from China.Even Donald Trump brought steel for his hotels from China.Every port in the US brought high speed computerized cranes from China at 27 million dollars each to unload the 460 billion dollars of manufacture goods from China.
Why the USA and UK not buying these from Japan but from China, Because Japanese electric cars are junk, Batteries would died in 30 mins or died in the middle of the road. Also the Japanese use junk metals to make cars.
