Pakistan's Prime Minister, Imran Khan refused to give any military base to the US for monitoring Afghanistan. In this video, we answer the following:
1) Why did Imran Khan refuse US request?
2) How may Pakistan's decision impact the geopolitical outcome in the region?
3) What message does Pakistan’s decision send to the region/US??
4) Where does China fit in all this?
One thing is sure: Pakistan allowing the U.S. to use military bases for carrying out combat missions will likely be a cause of concern for two of Pakistan’s neighbors: China and Iran. That both countries are adversaries of the United States is all the more troubling.

Thank you all for your support. I want to make a correction: The official date of Pakistan independence is Aug 14, 1947 not August 24, 1947...

I believe Pakistan rejects America because Pakistan does not want to betray China as a close ally. Moreover, China has helped build the port of Guadar which will lift Pakistan's economy.

Pakistan has grown up. She want to be able to decide who he wants to be friend. The most important for Pakistan is to show to the world it can stand on its feet and needn't have to be dictated by foreign powers. Anybody that can bring prosperity to its people are all welcome.

Pakistan has shown maturity by not further allowing the US to kill innocent people in Afghanistan.

America's obsession with controlling other countries borders on paranoia. Pakistan is weighing all its options and carefully evaluating the obvious shift in economic power from the West to the East and has made a wise decision. We may see more countries do the same.

Pakistan are not so naive to let a warmonger and a troublemaker to have their base in their land is definitely a good decision. This troublemaker can only creates troubles and nothing good.

Currently, India is spewing anti-China propaganda. Since Pakistan is not so friendly with India, it makes sense for Pakistan and China to team up. Also, China has some infrastructure projects going on in Pakistan.
