Writing in the New York Times this week, Fu Ying, vice chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, suggested a future for both countries based on "coopetition or competitive cooperation," in which competition becomes creative, not divisive. What do the U.S. and China need to do to reset relations? Good on China for standing up for what is right 2 Guo Chen Guo Chen 3 days ago Telling the US government Chinese intentions, is giving the US government the information useful to destroy China. Just look at the Gorbachev good intentions and the US sabotage which led to the fall of the Soviet Union. 12 Subhas Chandra Boss Subhas Chandra Boss 3 days ago China needs to look at the story of AMD. After years of being accused of copying and cloning Intel's chips and theft, it was left bleeding and at death's door. It refused to be defeated even though many had written it off. Then it appointed a new CEO who has a clear vision and determination to succeed. Today it is AMD which many look to for innovation and value for money. China can do the same. The new cold war has brought about all kinds of nasty invectives and accusations and sanctions, but China will not be beaten. With clear vision, determination and hard work, it will prevail. Biden and the Democrats will not give China a better ride than Trump because it is also embarked on hegemony and world supremacy. They too cannot bear a strong and prosperous China they cannot push around. Hilary and Pelosi have said as much. Obama started the hostilities in the Pacific. They are no real friends of China. China needs to rely on its people and real friends, and like AMD it will overcome its difficulties and succeed.
