Held at the beginning of each session of the UN General Assembly, the General Debate invites world leaders to deliver a statement on global issues. Chinese President Xi Jinping is addressing the meeting via video link. The theme for the 75th General Debate is "The future we want, the United Nations we need: Reaffirming our collective commitment to multilateralism – confronting COVID-19 through effective multilateral action."

Founded in 1945 after World War II, the UN currently has 193 member states and plays an important role in maintaining international peace and security, protecting human rights, delivering humanitarian aid, promoting sustainable development and upholding international law. #UN75

What a great speech by Pres Xi but unfortunately he is merely "throwing pearls to swines..." Why? Because the US and the Western news medias  will not only be able to appreciate his views but mocks him.   They still have the colonial imperialistic mentality and finds it inconceivable that an Asian or non Western nation can lead the world. They conveniently ignore the fact that China has always been a great civilisation for the last 4000  years albeit it was down and humiliated during the 200 years under foreign invasion....

I am from France and I always love China, I think I understand China in the way that I wish my country could cooperate more with China. We are facing challenges in France and I know that there is hope, but honestly our people are very always complaining and blaming whoever. So I am not sure if working closer will China will help the French citizens to change and become more an homogenous community.

It looks we are listening the President of USA , a country of Free World and Trump is speaking like a rouge country of the world. To suppress his failure , pointed towards China. China did not ask your business to come in China. They came for cheap labour to avoid American high labour cost. Now you are blaming  China. What a silly argument. We can not buy US argument of their fall. We Indian love our country but don't hate China for her development. There is some dispute in our border with China. Our leaders will short it out amicably.
