Taking the good with the bad....
My brother is a biomechanical engineer and often complains about the frustration he runs into trying to find a culture balance between the slow and steady medical staff and the hyper always moving engineers. I wish there was an easy answer for this but I don't have one.

The only thing that crosses my mind everytime i see a technological advancements like this is whats going to happen when it gets in the wrong hands .. manipulation of human minds and control is one of them .. science is great but the same cant be said about users ..

They’ve already succeeded since they already have a prototype that is less invasive than what was previously available.

Let me repeat what I've said many times - Neuralink is the most important thing happening in the world today. I regret, that so few people understand that.

Elon: Research: Pushing the bound of knowledge, failing, learning and advancing quickly.
Scientist: Research: Spending years on tiny steps so I can publish regularly without much effort and still buy that vacation home.

It’s hard to say, but I believe this may break civilization in two. The ones who are willing and able to augment themselves and the ones who oppose it.

“If the design takes too long to build, it's a bad design,” Musk said, twice repeating a management maxim: “If the schedule is long, it's wrong; if it's tight, it's right.”

Great video, thanks for adding more info, instead of showing off the same clip that everyone is realising. About neuralink, Elon thinks of the brain as a Hardrive, and actually its a whole superComputer. So there is no way to read+write data into the brain just by tapping the external cortex. A much better approach would be to READ data with nerualink, and then use other gadgets (earh pice, eye contact, nose 'smeller', skin happtics) to receave all that DATA [music, smells, sensations, audio], and let our senses to process it and store it to the brain. That would be a much faster (and secure) approach. Also would be great to share your data with people without a neuralink .

The device will change humanity more then the written word, electricity and the internet combined.

In 2018 I suffered a brain injury that has left me struggling to walk, even with an aid. If Neuralink can give me the full use of my legs again it would be truly life changing.

They talked about Tesla and SpaceX this way, yet, we know how that ended, do we?

NLink will be fine.

Musk's investments are impressive, but his claims should always be taken with a grain of salt, lest you be disappointed

Regarding intro :
I come to coldfusion because of my interest in the topic of the video. Just because of the announcement no one stays if the video is uninteresting

Not surprised.. Elon is trying to make something that sounds impossible but he’s confident that it will become a much bigger force in the future.. I do admire his dedication to Neuralink

I'm just impressed by the way it is just now, I can't imagine how it will be in 10 years.
