I think I've heard just about every recorded performance of this extraordinary work by Gounod and this one certainly ranks among my favorites!   Exceptionally well-prepared choir and orchestra, especially seeing what a youthful group it is.  Thank you so much for posting this performance!  Bravo!  The extended and enthusiastic audience applause indicates that I am far from alone in my praise.

Geweldige uitvoering door zulke jonge mensen: kippenvel! Het gedeelte Offertoire-Invocation werd gespeeld tijdens de crematieplechtigheid van mijn moeder en roept bij mij na al die jaren nog veel emoties op!

esta misa fue el soundtrack de la pelicula nosferatu con maximilian schell///pelicula de muchos años ha...en cuanto a loos solistas el tenor  un poco flojo lo mismo la soprano...el coro y la orquesta bien...ES UNA MISA FENOMENAL./

Ç'est toujours la même chose, quand j'entend le "Bénédictus" de la messe solonelle de Gounod je suis profondément ému. Je n'ai jemais cru,  que les romantiques français, auraient pu créer de la musique qui va tellement au coeur. J'ai entendu la messe solonelle la première fois il'y a quelques semaines à l'église Christ de Rendsbourg en slesvig holstein, toute à fait au nord de l'Allemagne. Ç'était écrasante.

Felicitats pels trenta anys a l'Escola Coral de Quart de Poblet. La interpretació coral, tot i dominant les veus femenines, m'agrada molt. Sé com és de difícil  trobar bones veus d'homes, però es defensen prou bé.  La nostra coral celebra els 40 anys. Vam cantar la Missa de la Coronació i ara estem acabant de preparar aquesta de Santa Cecília. Esperem que ens surti tan bé com a vosaltres!
