China and Iran have agreed to a broad-ranging 25-year economic and military deal with worldwide implications and in defiance of US geopolitical interests. RT’s Paula Slier shares the details. Then Amb. Majid Takht Ravanchi, Iranian ambassador to the UN, joins Rick Sanchez for an exclusive interview to share his insights on the deal. He also weighs in on Iran’s fraught relationship with the US and Israel, Tehran’s role in the region, and other pressing issues facing his country.

Protests continue in Portland, Oregon despite the presence of DHS-directed federal agents to quell the unrest. President Trump has threatened to expand the deployment of such forces to other cities to crack down on ongoing civil unrest. RT America’s Alex Mihailovich reports for the News with Rick Sanchez.

Reports are emerging that Ghislaine Maxwell, former associate of infamous pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, paid thousands of dollars to purveyor of fake news Jacob Wohl in an effort to discredit Epstein’s victims and corrupt the justice system in an order to stall the investigation against her. Maxwell currently faces up to 40 years in prison on federal sex trafficking, child abuse and perjury charges. RT America’s John Huddy reports. China and Iran are not strange bed-fellows even though the USA thinks everything evolves around it. Iran is an important participant in the `Belt and Road Initiative`. The main target of the USA is this new `Silk Road` that is able to bypass the US/British naval dominance with which they control global trade routes. It`s clear that the Anglo-Saxons view this Chinese project as a deadly attack on their hegemony and seek to derail it, even with war. So this China-Iran deal is a logical outcome of the current geopolitical developments.
