Hollywood and Oscars are still racists and bigots.
Marlo was way ahead of his time.

The people who booed inadvertently proved Brando’s point about racism. He was way ahead of his time.

The people who disliked this video are descendants of them who booed that night.
Edit:
Although her motive was true and right, but we all know why she is so impressing in this speach? Because she is an actor and knows how to conquer facial expressions.

A truly beautiful moment in American cinema. One of Brando’s finest moments and he was not even in it.

Wow. This is 47 years ago during the height of the Wounded Knee protests.
She’s so graceful, reverent and poignant. Her face makes me tear up. She is also stunningly beautiful.
How terribly sad it has taken us this long to even do the smallest acknowledgment of ancestral lands. Thank you, Taika Waititi, for doing that last night (2020 Oscars). As a Maori, you get it.
The USA could learn A LOT from NZ about race relations, truth and reconciliation. It hasn’t been a perfect process, but at least there is some attempt at redress.

Probably the most badass moment in the history of Oscar's and the strongest ever speech of acceptance/rejection delivered by one of the most elegant women ever to step on the stage 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Brando was ahead of his time. I remember seeing this on TV. Apparently, John Wayne was held back from intervening.

I love her hand shushing the Oscar. It was like, "This is not the moment you are looking for". A moment of grace.

At least Hollywood was honest back then about their contempt for minorities and others not in their elite circle, as opposed to the disingenuous virtue signaling we get these days.
