I saw Pavoratti in Rome in the early 80's when I was 12.  Talk about getting an ignorant American pre-teen  some serious culture!  It changed me FOREVER.  I can still picture the sun setting as Pavoratti sang Ave Marie.

Italy has simply the best opera singers, they always brings joy to me when i used to be sad. I love Pavarotti (RiP) and his very very beautiful Voice. In this terrible Time with this damn Virus, my Sympathy is with you Italians and for all People all over the World who dies so horribly. Warm Greetings from Germany ( Cordiali saluti da Germania) and sorry for my bad Schoolenglish ;)
