As for HongKong, in the Chinese views, It is not a big deal, and just let it be because it results from the western style of democracy. In addition, you can see the Shenzhen, on the other side of the river, is still working as usual like nothing happening. another reason I admire China. even in a victory on a trade issue involving Huawei the Chinese government is not in your face yelling victory or talking down in any way to americans. The Chinese believe in giving face to others and will not say anything to downgrade another peoples, all they will say on the matter is please meet us halfway on the trade issues. you see world this is how a superpower should act and carry itself!

Globally US allies no longer follow blindly where the US leads. trump at the G20 was surrounded by World leaders who are openly bypassing his ban on Huawei & sanctions on Iran.  He is barely tolerated at most.

China ? If you didn't know, Mainland China has not interfered in HK affairs so far throughout this turbulent period. So, why bring China into the picture ?



If the protestors who entered the HK Legislative building do not want to leave, I believe many would later leave with broken bones and skulls.


US capitulated in the trade war ? Yes, I noticed. I also wrote earlier that it is a dangerous game that the US is playing. From here on, the world realizes that the US dog is losing its canine and is just a lot of bark nowadays but that is good for the world. Perhaps we will get a more peaceful world from now on.

Those young protesters in Hong Kong were so envy of life in US.  I hope US administration , those who side with the protesters, should accept these young people to move to live in US immediately.
