It seems not quite fair to devalue Ricardos playing as "academic" in comparison with Yamandu.
Yamandu is a genius - unique in this world, unbelievable - I always listen with goose bumps, open mouth and a big smile!
But Ricardo managed to create a wonderful performance with as well sensitive as powerfull playing together with this genius - and he persisted this baptism of fire with bravour!
And even Yamandu had to play this wonderful Barrios Piece with bach-like discipline.
Big compliment, Ricardo, outstanding playing!

Me he escuchado y tuve la sensación de virtuosidad y maestria de los dos. Yamandu ya lo he visto muchas veces y desde 2001 cuando surgió, se tiene involucrado en estilos musicales muy diferentes. Para mi, es lo mejor de mi generacíon. ¡Echale!
