After more than three years of construction, Beijing Daxing International Airport, China's largest comprehensive transportation hub, is complete and will officially open for operation on September 30, 2019. By 2025, the airport will have the capacity to handle 72 million passengers annually and a total of 628,000 aircraft movements. According to the long-term plan, its annual capacity will be increased to handle 100 million passengers.
