Trump reiterated his support for Guaido and warned that all options against the Maduro government remain open. He has already threatened to use military force to oust Maduro. The European Union, however, strongly rejects any military intervention in Venezuela. The Latin American country has been gripped in crisis ever since Guaido proclaimed himself as interim president. The move divided the international community with the US and allies backing Guaido while others like Russia and China expressed support for Maduro.
