In racial term, I am Chinese after all my grandparents, living as a citizen in another nation. I know that everyone in the crowd is filled up with a feeling of love devoted to this motherland. Flash mobs like this, being organized or unorganized doesn't matter, appear in a number of big cities in China are very impressive to any seer who has a good mind.
Two hundred years ago, Napolean Bonaparte once said, "China is a sleeping lion. When she wakes, she will shake the world." Today, China has not only awakened, she is roaring, once again! In fact, China had been here before. For much of its over 4,000 years history, it was the most advanced and the largest economy in the world. When Rome rose to power in Europe about 2,000 thousands years ago, China was already the largest empire (Han Dynasty) in the world. Why should there be any surprise, if China occupies this pole position today?
The Kingdom of Nanyue or "Nam Viet" covered Provinces of Yunnan, Guangdong & Guangxi in southwest coastal China, founded by an ex-Qin Dynasty Han Chinese general Zhao Tuo, after the short-lived Qin (after the First Emperor of China died) Dynasty's collapse in 204 A.D. Yao people used to live in the Kingdom of Nanyue, just like Zhuang minority people of Guangxi, some of them later moved to northern Thailand near Chiang Mai. Vietnam of today made up of North Vietnam and South Vietnam; after the defeat of the French by Viet Minh (Communist North) at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954, which joined with South Vietnam (a Republic) backed by Americans when the Yankees lost the war and fled Saigon hurriedly in 1975. Vietnamese of today came from the migration of these Chinese people to Viet-Nam, named as such by the son of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing (Manchu) Dynasty. Was Vietnam part of China? Yes it was and for about 1,500 years! Just like Korea, they both celebrate the same Lunar New Year as Chinese, don't they? Vietnamese call it Te't and Koreans call it Hanja. Was Korea part of China? You bet! And, for nearly 1,800 years since Jin Dynasty.
