Lee Kuan Yew once said it is stupid to be afraid of China’s return. The more afraid you are, the more mistakes you will make.

I say this to most Americans criticizing China and the Chinese goverment. You think you are superior because you think you live in a "democratic country".  ( In reality a two party state where both parties have rigged the rules to sabotage any third party campaign")You look down on China because they are not a Western style liberal democracy. Be careful what you wish for. Having lived in China for a few years I can't tell you that you will find that a democratic China will be much more nationalistic, confrontational, assertive, agressive and militaristic than what you see under the current government they have right now. Be careful what you wish for. China is a country that has suffered tremendous humiliations at the had of Western powers, including some of it's near neighbors. There are deep seeded grivences held by the conscience of the masses that when freely expressed can be quite militant, and even violent. In contrast the senior leadership of the communist party tends to be quite more pragmatic, cautious and well calculated. Be careful what you wish for me.

most Americans have not realized Chinese have zero interest to remain relationships. since fundamentally Americans are seen as subhumans, unlike Chinese who are God-Chosen and higher-rank-in-evolve-level.  The racism sentiment will steer the conversation and push Americans to do hard decision on whether taking a deal with blatant sense of humiliation .

US world view is pathetic. The world is a different place now.Asia growth is inevitable. It must be, because the population is there. The talent pool of 1.3 billion people plus the Japanese, the Koreans and the Vietnamese and the others, it can match Europe and America. In the past, the talent pool was inert . It did not have Science and Technology; did not care about Science and Technology. But now everything that you do, Asia is doing. You’re going into stem cell research; we are going into stem cell research. AI, smart technology...China is going into all these in a big way.
And US is still thinking of hampering what others were doing to improve oneself. Yes, u may have the largest military .But if these immature antics of the US govt and irresponsible one sided view of US media/ publications, continued, it will further weaken the trust in US money and its role in the world. Will they change for the better?I doubt so.

Talking nonsense. All these are due to imbalance of intentions,  mostly on USA who are afraid that China is passing them in the fast lane and they are pulling all stops to prevent this.

Unless China’s average national education level get to the level of Canada or Australia, democracy is really not suitable for China. With that logic, US is also better off adopt some kind of authoritarian regime. Dumb people should not vote.

honestly speaking, China will adjust and grow steadily at her own pace, with or without any agreement with the US. from raw materials, processing, products, to consumption, the entire self-sustaining system by 1.45 billion population is sufficient to steer her own future endeavour. the west can go on with this colonialistic attitude echoing their evil forefathers’ dirty hands.

It's very regrettable that US-China relations have fallen to this new low because of America's envy over China's unprecedented growth.

7:00 have you noticed the difference in tone between the intelligent, sober analysis of the Australian former PM and the brassy, in-your-face , raucous Yankee hussy ?
Oh I can't stand the Yanks and Yankee culture and manners.
