US doesn't have the right to do many things, but it does it because its powerful. If you are powerful, then you can force your foreign policy on weaker countries. This is not about democracy because there is a long history of America and Europe supporting dictators, terrorists, illegal colonial regimes like israel and other bad regimes in the world.
