The Huawei executive, Meng Wanzhou, has been released on bail, after Canadian authorities held her for nearly two weeks at the request of the United States. A Canadian court on Tuesday granted Meng bail at 10 million Canadian dollars. Huawei said it hoped the U.S. and Canada will now end the matter in a fair and timely manner. China raised severe objection to Meng's detention which also grabbed worldwide attention.
