The world is lucky enough to embrace a modest country like country. It is a peaceful minded country compared with the aggression initiated western countries.

Don't quite understand what this guy's point. If everybody has an issue with China on trade, how about Germany, Japan, France, South Korea that enjoy huge surplus on trading with China. Are they mad of those surplus or what?

China changing STRATEGIES on how they will deal with the world disrupted stages has confused these both Ian and Kelvin as these are new to them.
The questions posed by Ian in the beginning of the video are filled with holes backed mainly be misconceptions.
TIME is on China side and their strategy is working FINE.
Did Junker really got a deal from TRUMP or it is just an offer to talk further?

Does USA have REAL allies or USA has been treating them as vassal states?
Why is TRUMP threatening WTO again?
Is USA in compliance with international behavior, conduct and TRADE rules?
Why does TRUMP imposed unilateral SANCTIONS against nations that has not hurt USA?
Who appointed USA as a policeman?
The whole world knows USA will only protects it's own self interest.

How does anyone expects USA -China trade talk to succeed when..
1. TRUMP reneged on its TRADE delegation earlier deal with China.
2. TRUMP USA insistence that China withdraw all its complaints filed with WTO.
3. China STOP it's retaliatory TARIFF on USA products esp. farm products
4. This is even more ridiculous. To HALT China Made in China 2025. Now we know the TRADE WAR is NOT about TRADE but FEAR of China. Not surprising when the Lion King TRUMP is surrounded by anti-China idiots like Peter Navarro, Larry Kudlow, John Bolston, etc
They assured the hubristic POTUS victory is close. Question is once the Trade War is started, how to stop it? 😀😀

Trust me. Ian or Kelvin, China has prepared itself since 2008.
But the BAN of Qualcomm chips to ZTE came as a surprise but NOT unexpected since Obama BANNED Intel Xeon chips to China.🤔

Those ppl who still harbour in their mind of communism vs democracy, have lost touch with modern world's current affair. That is why these western analysts got their prediction wrong about China most of the time because of their confirmation bias . China is also practising capitalism in its economic policies, how do we labelled China then?

Go China!
I believe that China must be able to withstand the suppression of the United States. We can't surrender!Even the world’s boss, the United States order us to disarm,we china  must also hold on.We can give in and compromise, but never surrender. Yes, the United States is the world’s leader, but we are not Libya or Japan,we are also a big country with thousands of years of excellent culture and heritage. We have our dignity!China never surrender!
I remembered the movie called "Brave Heart",China never surrender! Wallace is with us!Freedom!
dignity!Freedom!God bless us!

Why is it so important to know there is an answer of right or wrong? The world is a shared resources and realise by all human efforts, not by enforcement by one strongest nation that thinks they are RIGHT and others are WRONG

So many western correspondents sound like they know a lot about China and tell China and everyone  what to do, none of them even speaks Chinese.  It is like a blind man telling you which way to go. Congrads.

Excellent interview. Only question/discussion point I miss is: Can US and China find a way to collaborate as opposed to bumping heads. A platform of collaboration could eg be the BRI? Both Obama and Trump seem to seek to contain Chinas rise (through either TPP or Trade/tariffs) rather then seek collaboration. Dont hear many voices expressing that view. Understand the logic that the hegemony pushes back on the rising power but its a path fraught with risk. If China and Russia are able to form a strategic alliance, why should the US (and the west in general) be able to do that and actively seek that?

It is not about Xi...it is about the fact that the Chinese communist party  is built on meritocracy not on baboons like in the USA

the West has to understand that in order to stop China retaking its rightful place in the world stage, the only solution is to drag the entire planet into a Nuclear war, which means the ending of the human race. In other words, the US can only take measures to slowdonwn China's rise to the top, but it won't stop it. This is the course of History.
