That’s what brought the winning bidder, the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation, to Springfield, where it’s providing good-paying manufacturing jobs in a city that desperately needs them. But as Adam Reilly tells us, the future is a lot more murky these days, thanks to President Trump’s escalating trade war with China.

A trickle of good jobs is nothing, if all the parts are imported. At least NAFTA had a percentage of US made but today China doesn't. Congress has been useless in looking out for middle class jobs- they are paid off by the corporations. If Tariffs are bad, congress inaction is far, far worse.
