Chinese President Xi Jinping’s special envoy and Vice Premier Liu He arrived in Washington on Tuesday for economic and trade negotiations with the US side. Meanwhile, the US is extending hearings over China tariffs. On Sunday, US President Donald Trump said in a tweet he and Xi are working together to give Chinese telecom company ZTE “a way to get back into business, fast.” ZTE faces a seven-year export ban from the US. So, what results can be expected from the second round of the talks?



In her new book titled North Korea: The Country We Love to Hate, Loretta Napoleoni, an investigative journalist and economist, challenges the Western perception of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Napoleoni dismissed the Western propaganda about the DPRK, explaining why the West failed in understanding the country and why it can grow into a great economy in future.
