John Pilger is the lone voice in wilderness for humanity. He speaks the truth and his documentaries are all backed  up by archival documents, movies and photos from different countries and sources. They were facts based.

all of John Pilger's documentaries including his latest are a must see. However the gentleman did have a point pushing back against the 'one sided' nature of John's documentary, I don't think the documentary was one sided in that John Pilger as he often does simply was showing a suppressed history that shows China under Mao had always wanted détente with the US much like Ho Chi Minh did and its not China that has an expansionist foreign policy. they use imperialism by other means which is through trade and not bullets and trade. And I like RT, I watch RT programs but we do need a model of media that ISN'T dependent on any state whether its British, American, Russian, Venezuelan, Qatari or Iranian, and isn't beholden to corporate advertisers, sponsors or insince wealthy donors. Very hard but it can be done and we need to support media like that from The Real News Network, Consortium News, Black Agenda Report, Shadowproof, Mint Press News, and those who deconstruct the news like Media Lens, FAIR, Project Censored, SPin Watch, and the Glasgow Media Group. RT no doubt you won't find about abuses of Russian government there, oppression and support for regressive groups in Russia or overseas and Al Jazeera is a Qatari state funded outlet who WikiLeaks has exposed influences the reporting on Al Jazeera and whatever is the Qatari foreign policy Al Jazeera follows suit whether its détente with IRan (which is good) or war with Syria and backing vile Islamists that Qatar exports there as Clinton's e-mail through WikiLeaks revealed. Al Jazeera Arabic also has on ISIS fighters, or ISIS type fighters and their spokespeople and apologists on their program to discuss genocide towards Alawites and non-Sunnis in response to made up genocide against Sunnis which Assad isn't doing. And Al Jazeera playing a part in the Russia conspiracy theories, smearing of WikiLeaks now, and airing the dirty laundry of Saudi Arabia and other states but not the human trafficking, and exporting of Islamists they do, and their double speak on Israel needs to be called out, so I'm glad the gentleman pointed that out and wish Pilger would advocate that we need independent media that is INDEPENDENT of any state or corporations, or douchebags like Pierre Omydiar.  

   And I do hope China will allow Taiwan to be an independent nation, give autonomy and allow Tibet to practice freely Buddhism, and I do like that John Pilger corrected the woman in the audience that "the US doesn't force the UK to follow them" the UK neo-colonialism, the sun never really set on the British empire, is a willing participant to the imperial order, read all of Mark Curtis the British historian's book on UK foreign policy from Web of Deceit: Britain's real role in the world, The Great Deception, Unpeople: Britain's secret human rights abuses, and Secret Affairs: Britain's collusion with Radical Islam. and yes it was Labour Party (contrary to their myths) that reshaped and regenerated the imperial empire. The only time the US ever twisted the arm of the UK was when the US and UK deep state dropped millions of bullshit stories on Harold Wilson when even though he was a moderate had his differences but overall the special relationship has been two mobsters joining forces. the US and UK even joined forces to sack the Labour government of Gough Whitlam when he wanted to close US nuclear and spying bases and him breaking from foreign policy Anglo-American-Aussi doctrine. Now the Five eyes alliance are getting tighter and tighter. But yes the UK pursues its imperial/colonial goals and is happy to join forces with the US, no one puts a gun to their head and does it.

Media are controlled by a few moguls hijacking the public and driving their paid agenda. Speaker and questioner must have sufficient background on Tibet before even touch questions on Tibet.

Pilger has been allowed into the mainstream consciousness by the power that is. He must be no threat and it is very probable that he himself is just another propagandist for those in high places. Either his information is ineffective or it is bogus. I would question everything. It is probable Pilger distorts the truth, so the mass media consumer has a false impression of what Truth is and the guilty "elite" continue to loot the people at every available turn.
